My Gift to You

Who doesn’t like a free gift now and then?  I especially like the ones that I can share with others, but there is something to be said with the ones that are just for me.  When someone thinks enough of me to give me a gift, I know that they think I matter, and they care about me.  That’s a good feeling. Do you agree?  I hope so because . . .

Today I want to offer you, my esteemed reader, a couple free gifts to help you with your journey to a more peaceful life. I’ve mentioned in the past that I love the Emotion Code and the Body Code, in fact I am a certified practitioner for both modalities. I have seen such positive results in my life, I had to become certified so I could help others obtain the results they needed.

If you’re unfamiliar with the emotion code, here is a fifteen-minute video by Emanuel Zevallos that is one of the best explanations I’ve seen. The first gift I’m offering today is a free mini-session so you can experience either the emotion code or the body code for yourself.  You can access your free session by clicking on this sentence. It will give you a link to my calendar where you can schedule a coffee chat. When we meet, just let me know which modality you would like to try. If you prefer to just chat and learn more, that’s fine, too. The fifteen minutes is yours as my gift.

The second gift that I want to offer you isn’t really free. It won’t cost you money, though. It’s a two part cost. The first cost is that you will share it with someone, or share an equivalent gift with someone. The second cost is your email address so I can send it to you.

If you’ve followed my posts for any length of time, you know that I value gratitude. It is one of the most important tools in my toolbox for a peaceful life. Gratitude has so many benefits.

Here are some of the benefits of gratitude I’ve written about in the past:

Gratitude helps you accomplish your goals. When you feel grateful, it tends to be a lasting and selfless feeling. It’s much more than just a momentary burst of positive energy; it has staying power that will provide a great boost for you to reach your goals. When you express your gratitude to others, ensure that you’re open and expressive. People don’t know what you’re thinking; hearing it can make all the difference.

Gratitude strengthens your relationships. There are many ways you can express your gratitude to your loved ones, including saying, “Thank you,” writing a letter, or giving them a thoughtful gift. When you learn to avoid taking your loved ones for granted, you’ll have a long-lasting and loving relationship. Showing gratitude is a two-way street. Learn how to effectively express your gratitude and, just as importantly, to receive it as well.

Gratitude improves communication. Gratitude can mean better communication all around. By expressing your gratitude to strangers, they’ll be more likely to show an interest in helping you, too. Gratitude is such a powerful entity that it can even help you communicate with your pets! They should be appreciated too.

Gratitude makes criticism easier to accept. No matter how we express constructive criticism, it often makes the recipient defensive or even angry. No one likes a blow to the ego. In this situation, a grateful attitude can take you a long way. You can express criticism quite effectively when you also emphasize what you appreciate about them.

Gratitude makes pleasant memories. You can preserve memories in a positive way when you keep a gratitude journal. You’ll be able to enjoy your memories again and again when you read about these happy times in the future.

The last benefit is where the gift comes in – I am offering you a free printable gratitude journal, specially designed for the new, as well as the experienced journaler. All you need to do is send me an email to with the “gratitude journal” in the subject. Each page has a journal prompt to get you thinking, and you can use it however you see fit. I only ask that you share a copy with a friend, or offer a gift of gratitude to someone.

Why do I want you to share the journal or a gratitude gift? It’s because each time we express gratitude, we make the world a little better. It’s such an easy thing to do, and when there are more people to share their gratitude and their love, we can make an even bigger difference in the positive energy in our world.

Find your purpose – find your joy!
